Job Overview

A reputed textile company in Surat is seeking a Senior Accountant with solid experience in handling end-to-end accounting operations. This role is ideal for candidates from the textile trading or manufacturing industry who are well-versed in GST filings, account finalization, and financial reporting using ERP-based accounting software.

Key Responsibilities
Handle daily accounting entries including purchase, sales, expenses, and journal entries.
Prepare and file GST returns, manage TDS compliance, and ensure timely tax documentation.
Conduct bank reconciliations, manage petty cash, and monitor cash flows.
Support in finalization of accounts and monthly/annual closures.
Maintain ledgers,



perform reconciliation with vendors and customers.
Assist during internal and external audits and ensure audit-ready records.
Coordinate with internal departments for timely documentation and reporting.
Generate MIS reports and maintain proper financial documentation.

Requirements
Experience: Around 3 or 3+ years of experience in accounting.
Proficient in ERP-based accounting software like Tripta/Tally etc.
Robust understanding of GST regulations, TDS filing, and compliance management.
Ability to work independently and handle end-to-end accounting tasks.
Strong attention to detail, time management, and communication skills.
