Description:
We are a Preschool to Grade 12 school in the city of Rajkot (Gujarat) founded by Harvard alums. Our unique pedagogy, the Northstar Approach, is a research-based approach to learning and teaching that helps students achieve their highest potential by exploring and making discoveries about themselves and their world. Responsibilities:
- To promote, develop and support the delivery of high quality teaching and learning in physical education across all grades.
- To be able to work collaboratively across all grades to bring about long term improvements and to support high wellness programs and sport activities.
- To plan and deliver a range of inclusive competitive and school based sports opportunities in sync with the CIE curriculum.
- To have a knowledge and commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students and staff.
- To have a good level of communication and ICT skills to be in sync with the Northstar approach.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Sports Education
- Relevant domain/subject expertise
- Prior experience in teaching at progressive organisations is beneficial
