Engineer / Technician Trainee – HVAC & Electrical

- About the Role

CSK Bio Consulting is looking for motivated Engineer / Technician Trainees to join our HVAC & Electrical Facility Maintenance at the NIAB Research Campus, Gachibowli, Hyderabad. This is a full time opportunity for candidates who are passionate about HVAC systems, electrical maintenance, and facility operations. The role offers hands-on experience in operating and maintaining advanced HVAC and electrical systems within a state-of-the-art institutional research facility under the guidance of experienced engineers.

Fresh engineering graduates are encouraged to apply, while experienced ITI and Diploma candidates will also be considered.

Roles & Responsibilities

- Operate, inspect, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, electrical systems, and associated equipment.
- Monitor the day-to-day operation of HVAC and electrical installations to ensure uninterrupted performance.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control system faults.
- Perform preventive and scheduled maintenance of air conditioning, ventilation, heating, electrical distribution systems, lighting, and power equipment.
- Attend breakdown calls and restore equipment to normal operation promptly.
- Monitor and maintain electrical panels, MCCs, DBs, VFDs, and Building Management System (BMS) controls.
- Maintain service reports, maintenance logs, and records of spare parts utilized.
- Coordinate with facility management teams for planned maintenance activities.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, operating procedures, and maintenance protocols.
- Assist senior engineers in installation, commissioning, testing, and performance monitoring of HVAC and electrical systems.

Required Qualifications & ExperienceEducational Qualification





- ITI in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning (RAC), Electrician, Wireman, Fitter, or equivalent.
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, or equivalent.
- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.

Experience

- ITI: Minimum 1–3 years of experience in HVAC and/or electrical operation and maintenance.
- Diploma: 0–2 years of experience in HVAC and/or electrical operation and maintenance.
- B.E./B.Tech: Freshers or candidates with up to 1 year of relevant experience are encouraged to apply.

Preferred Skills

- Knowledge of Split AC, Package AC, Ductable Units, VRF/VRV Systems, AHUs, FCUs, Chillers, and Ventilation Systems.
- Basic understanding of LT electrical systems, electrical panels, MCCs, DBs, lighting, power distribution, and cable termination.
- Familiarity with electrical wiring, control panels, VFDs, motors, sensors, and Building Management Systems (BMS).
- Understanding of HVAC preventive maintenance, electrical troubleshooting, and safety procedures.
- Familiarity with institutional, laboratory, pharmaceutical, hospital, or commercial facility maintenance will be an added advantage.
- Good communication, teamwork, problem-solving skills, and willingness to work in rotational shifts.
