Key Responsibilities

A. Sleep Study Execution (Level 2 & Level 3)

Conduct home-based sleep studies as per AASM and Narayana Clinic protocols.

Set up and calibrate sleep study equipment (airflow sensors, oximeter, respiratory belts, EEG/EMG/EOG if required for Level 2).

Ensure proper placement and functioning of all sensors before the study begins.

Educate patients and attendants about test preparation, device handling, and safety instructions & take consent.

Perform basic troubleshooting of equipment during onsite visits. B. Data Management & Reporting

Download, validate, and securely store sleep study data post-completion.

Perform preliminary scoring of respiratory events (apneas, hypopneas, desaturations). Share completed data and reports with doctor for interpretation.

Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to data protection guidelines (HIPAAequivalent/Narayana policies). C. Coordination & Scheduling

Coordinate with clinic teams and doctors to schedule studies as per patient availability.

Maintain a daily/weekly schedule of home visits.

Communicate proactively in case of delays, device issues, or patient non-compliance. D.



Equipment & Inventory Management

Maintain inventory of sleep study devices, accessories, consumables, and spare parts.

Ensure devices undergo routine calibration, cleaning, and servicing.

Track device usage and report repairs or replacements. E. Compliance & Quality

Follow infection control protocols for device cleaning and patient interactions.

Adhere to standard operating procedures for sleep studies (based on AASM recommendations).

Maintain accurate documentation, logbooks, and quality checklists.

Qualifications & Experience

B.Sc. in Sleep Technology / Respiratory Therapy / Neurodiagnostics / Allied Health Sciences

6 months – 2 years of experience performing Level 2 and/or Level 3 sleep studies

Strong understanding of sleep study sensors, respiratory monitoring, and scoring basics Ability to travel across Bangalore for home-based studies

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per hour
