Lead and mentor the IB DP Languages department, ensuring alignment with IB philosophy, assessment standards, and curriculum frameworks.
Design and implement department-wide teaching strategies that enhance student engagement, literacy development, and cross-cultural communication.
Oversee curriculum mapping, unit planning, and assessment moderation to ensure consistent, high-quality delivery across all language offerings.
Collaborate with cross-departmental teams to integrate language learning into interdisciplinary projects and global initiatives.
Conduct regular classroom observations, feedback sessions,



and career development workshops for language faculty.
Represent the school’s language program at IB workshops, parent meetings, and accreditation reviews.

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have
IB DP Languages certification or training
Experience teaching IB DP Language A or Language B courses
Curriculum design for IB Diploma Programme
Classroom observation and instructional coaching
IB moderation and internal assessment guidelines
Proficiency in English and at least one additional IB-recognized language

Preferred
Experience as IB Coordinator or Head of Department
familiarity with Approaches to Learning (ATL) and Concept-Based Learning
Experience in international or multicultural school environments
