Job Title : Automation Systems Engineer

Experience : 5 to 10 Years

Roles & Responsibilities

- Support automation systems projects across the complete project lifecycle.

- Assist in automation system design, architecture development, and control system implementation.

- Develop automation philosophy, control narratives, HMI design, and data flow structures.

- Support systems integration and ensure compliance with engineering and industry standards.

- Participate in instrumentation, controls, and IT change management processes.

- Provide troubleshooting and technical support for automation and control systems.

- Support greenfield and brownfield project execution activities.

- Coordinate with Operations, Engineering, and Technical teams for project delivery and operational support.

- Utilize automation engineering tools, inventory databases, and system design applications.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation related to automation systems.

- Improve automation engineering processes, tools, and operational efficiency initiatives.

- Ensure compliance with safety,

Requisites
- Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation or Electrical Engineering.
- Robust understanding of automation systems and control engineering concepts.

- Experience in automation system design, implementation, and troubleshooting.

- Knowledge of PLC configuration such as Allen-Bradley or Emerson PAC systems.

- Familiarity with SCADA systems and HMI platforms.

- Experience with systems integration, control narratives, and automation architectures.

- Understanding of oil & gas, upstream, or industrial facility operations.

- Experience in greenfield and brownfield project environments.

- Knowledge of change management processes for instrumentation and control systems.

- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.

- Ability to work with multidisciplinary teams and manage multiple deliverables.

- Good communication, technical documentation, and stakeholder coordination skills.
