Responsibilities:

Application Development:
Write, modify, and debug software programs for mainframe applications.
Use programming languages like COBOL, Assembler, and PL/I to create efficient and reliable code.

System Integration:
Integrate mainframe applications with other systems and platforms using middleware like CICS and MQ Series.




Collaborate with other developers and IT professionals to ensure seamless integration.

Database Management:
Design and develop database structures using mainframe database systems like DB2 and IMS.
Write SQL queries and stored procedures to interact with mainframe databases.

Batch Processing:
Develop and maintain batch processing jobs using JCL (Job Control Language) for scheduled and automated tasks.

Debugging and Troubleshooting:
Use debugging tools like IBM Debug Tool and Xpediter to identify and fix errors in the code.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to application functionality and performance.

Requirements:
SAD - MF COBOL Experience developing with most technologies (examples: front end, APIs-services/backend, database, MQ/Messaging. COBOL, DB2/SQL, CICS, SonarQube).
Experience with mainframe software development tools and platforms
Solid knowledge of COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2 and other mainframe technologies
