Role Description

The SEO Intern will support the digital marketing team in executing and optimizing SEO strategies to improve search engine visibility for client websites. Day-to-day tasks include assisting with keyword research, conducting basic SEO audits, helping implement on-page SEO recommendations, and supporting link-building initiatives. The intern will also help monitor key performance metrics using web analytics tools, document findings, and prepare simple reports. This is an internship role that offers hands-on learning in a cooperative workplace.

The position is on-site and based in Ramnagar, Varanasi.

Qualifications




Ability to conduct and interpret Keyword Research to identify relevant search terms and content opportunities.
Foundational understanding of SEO Audits to assess technical, on-page, and off-page SEO issues.
Basic skills in On-Page SEO, including optimizing titles, meta descriptions, headings, and content structure.
Interest or experience in Link Building to support ethical outreach and backlink acquisition efforts.
Ability to use Web Analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Search Console) to track performance and identify trends.
Solid written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and willingness to learn.
Comfort working on-site in Varanasi and collaborating with a cross-functional team.
Preferred: coursework or prior exposure to digital marketing, SEO, or related fields; familiarity with basic HTML or CMS platforms is a plus.
