Job description
Assistant Professor of Law positions involve teaching undergraduate/postgraduate law courses, conducting scholarly research, publishing in peer-reviewed journals, and mentoring students in moot courts and legal aid. Candidates require a Master of Laws (LLM) and PhD, from Premium Institutes and Universities with roles often requiring Bar Council of India compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Teaching & Curriculum: Developing and delivering courses, conducting lectures, and creating study materials for LL.B/LL.M programs.
Research & Publication: Conducting original legal research, producing high-quality publications in peer-reviewed journals, and participating in academic seminars.
Mentorship: Guiding students in moot courts, legal research projects, research dissertations, and internships.
Administration:
Contributing to university academic planning, accreditation processes (NAAC/BCI), and institutional committee work.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Education: PhD & LL.M. with high academic standing from Premium Universities/ Institutes.
UGC NET/SET qualification.
Experience: Previous teaching or research experience is often required.
Specialization: Solid knowledge of law (e.g., Intellectual Property, Corporate Law, Constitutional Law).
Skills: Exceptional legal drafting, communication, research skills, and familiarity with pedagogical technologies

Pay: ₹57,700.00 - ₹85,000.00 per month
