Job Title: Pricing & Overseas Business Coordinator

Location: Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra (On-site)

About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Pricing & Overseas Business Coordinator to join our Freight Forwarding team. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Sea (FCL/LCL) & Air Freight Pricing, vendor negotiations, overseas agent coordination, and business development. The role requires excellent commercial acumen, relationship management skills, and the ability to deliver competitive pricing while supporting international business growth.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare accurate, competitive, and profitable freight quotations for Sea (FCL/LCL) and Air Freight shipments for both Import & Export.
- Negotiate freight rates, contracts, slot allocations, and service commitments with shipping lines, airlines, NVOCCs, consolidators, and overseas agents.
- Manage spot rates, contract rates, and ensure timely responses to customer and overseas enquiries within defined turnaround times.
- Develop and maintain robust relationships with overseas agents, freight partners, and global logistics networks.
- Generate business opportunities through overseas agents and international logistics partners.
- Coordinate with overseas agents for pricing, shipment planning, routing, and execution of import and export shipments.
- Work closely with Sales, Operations, and Documentation teams to ensure quotations meet customer requirements and operational capabilities.
- Perform margin analysis and cost calculations to achieve company profitability targets.




- Secure space allocations and negotiate favourable detention, demurrage, and other commercial terms with carriers and vendors.
- Monitor market trends, freight rate movements, and industry developments to maintain competitive pricing strategies.
- Handle RFQs (Request for Quotations), shipment follow-ups, and customer requirements efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with Incoterms, customs procedures, freight classifications, and company policies.
- Maintain records of quotations, overseas enquiries, business conversions, and partner performance.

Requirements

- 2–5 years of experience in Freight Forwarding, Logistics, or International Business with exposure to Sea & Air Freight Pricing.
- Strong knowledge of Import & Export operations, freight forwarding processes, and international logistics.
- Hands-on experience in pricing, rate procurement, and overseas agent coordination.
- Excellent negotiation, analytical, communication, and relationship management skills.
- Ability to work in a rapid-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and freight forwarding software/ERP systems is preferred.

Preferred

- Existing network with shipping lines, airlines, NVOCCs, and overseas agents will be an added advantage.
- Candidates residing in Mumbai / Navi Mumbai will be preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
