Web Developer & IT Administrator

Key Responsibilities

- Web Development:

o Design, develop, and maintain responsive websites and web applications using HTML, CSS,

JavaScript, jQuery, and WordPress.

o Customize and extend WordPress themes and plugins to meet project requirements.

o Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and refine specifications and requirements for web

projects.

o Optimize websites and applications for speed, scalability, and cross-browser compatibility.

o Troubleshoot and debug issues with web applications and implement effective solutions.

- IT Administration:

o Manage and maintain our IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and cloud services

(AWS, Azure, etc.).

o Ensure the security and integrity of IT systems by implementing and monitoring security

measures, including firewalls and VPNs.

o Perform system upgrades, patches, and installations to keep systems up-to-date and secure.

o Administer user accounts, permissions, and access rights across various platforms and systems.

o Implement and manage backup and disaster recovery solutions to protect data and ensure

business continuity.

Skills

- Proven experience as a Web Developer and IT Administrator, preferably with 7 years of





combined experience.

- Proficiency in front-end web development technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery.

- Experience with WordPress development, including theme customization and plugin development.

- Robust knowledge of relational databases (MySQL, SQL Server) and proficiency in writing SQL

queries.

- Familiarity with server administration, networking protocols, and cloud services (AWS, Azure, etc.).

- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues independently.

- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Experience

- Proven track record in web development projects, including designing, coding, and deploying

web applications.

- Hands-on experience in managing IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and cloud

platforms.

- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Education

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

(Master’s degree preferred)
