Job Requirements

The role is responsible for,

- Understand the project requirements from technical sales department and verify for any gaps

- Handling a team containing minimum of 3 design engineers and guiding them to complete all the design related activities required for completing the project in all aspects w.r.t controls

- Arrive a suitable machine concept along with mechanical design department, which meets the technical requirements and also the project cost/timeline

- Discuss with customer and other internal stake holders viz. T.sales, mechanical design, purchase, programming, robot & vision team, project management team, E.assembly to close any discrepancies arising in the project

- To have in-depth technical knowledge to quickly decide on the project requirements

- Discussion of DAP documents and machine acceptance criteria with customer. Getting the DAP documents signed-off by customer

- Discuss with different product manufacturer to select control elements required for the project meeting technical, commercial and timeline

- Selection of sensor, vision, robot and other control devices thru trials and thru necessary documents/discussions

- Monitoring the daily activities of the project and its progress, monitoring the cost & mandays required and its proper utilisation. Ensure proper adherence of design processes by the team members





- Address the project related queries and hindrance raised by the team under and provide suitable solution without affecting the project in any manner viz. cost, timeline, quality and technical

- Ensuring complete deliverables of team reporting under & w.r.t to the control aspects of the project. i.e. to ensure timely adherence of DAP, CDRN, PDRN, manuals and other documentation of control engineering designs.

- Completion of electrical circuits, routing and machine ballooning documents with relevant explanation to assembly team

- Explaining the programming team on the machine requirements viz. SOP, machine & customer requirements, vision & robotic functions in the machine, other devices function like loadcell, presses, servo etc… Ensure to provide all documents to programming team to fulfil the machine and customer requirements

Work Experience

- Fundamentals of electrical engineering

- Concept generation for application requirement

- PLC & HMI programming

- Knowledge about Pneumatic, Hydraulic, PLC, Servo, Vision, Robot, SCADA and other control systems

- Knowledge about electrical diagrams, product manuals, machine manuals

- Machine Testing and Commissioning Knowledge in Automation Field

- Positive Communication Skills.

- Electrical Controls Design.

- On time support to Customer during MQ1/MQ2 Process.

- Willing to Travel

- Team competency mapping

- Team management and guidance to achieve the desired results in electrical design
