- Oversee the maintenance of all hotel infrastructure, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and structural components.
- Manage both preventive maintenance schedules and emergency repairs to ensure optimal hotel operations and minimal downtime.
- Respond to and resolve guest and staff maintenance requests promptly and professionally.
- Develop and manage the engineering department's annual budget, including expenses for staff, materials, and maintenance contracts.
- Handle purchasing of necessary equipment, tools, and materials.
- Ensure the hotel complies with all health, safety, and building codes.
- Implement and oversee fire safety and emergency response plans.
- Conduct regular property inspections to identify and address potential hazards.
- Coordinate and supervise the work of outside contractors and service providers.
