Job Description – Project Manager (New Product Development)

Location: Chennai
Reporting To: Senior Management
Experience: 8–12 Years
Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Polymer, Plastics, or Chemical Engineering (PMP preferred)

Key Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end New Product Development (NPD) projects for Rubber & Engineering Plastics.
- Plan, execute, and monitor projects to meet quality, cost, and delivery targets.
- Coordinate with Design, Production, Quality, Procurement, and Customers.
- Manage project schedules, risks, and resources.
- Support product validation, tooling, and successful product launches.
- Ensure compliance with customer and quality requirements.

Preferred Profile

- 8–12 years of experience in NPD/Project Management in the Rubber, Plastics, Automotive,



or Engineering Manufacturing industry.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver results within timelines.

Required Skills

- Experience in Rubber/Engineering Plastics product development.
- Strong project management and cross-functional coordination skills.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, APQP/PPAP, and quality systems.
- Good communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office/MS Project; PMP certification is an added advantage.

Pay: ₹650,000.00 - ₹900,000.00 per year
