Responsibilities
Operate conventional lathe machines safely and efficiently.
Perform fitting, drilling, tapping, grinding, cutting, and assembly work.
Read and understand engineering drawings.
Measure components using Vernier calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments.
Maintain dimensional accuracy and quality standards.
Carry out routine machine maintenance and keep the workshop organized.
Assist in fabrication, prototyping, and machine assembly as required.
Minimum Requirements
ITI certificate in Fitter, Turner, Machinist, or a related trade.
1–3 years of experience operating conventional lathe machines.
Knowledge of fitting operations and hand tools.
Ability to read technical drawings.
Basic understanding of workshop safety practices.
Physically fit and willing to work in a manufacturing workplace.
