The ECHO & ECG Technician is responsible for conducting electrocardiogram (ECG) tests and echocardiography (ECHO) procedures for patients as prescribed by doctors. The technician ensures accurate test performance, proper patient care, equipment handling, and timely reporting support.
Key ResponsibilitiesECG Related Duties
Perform ECG tests for OPD, IPD, and emergency patients.
Prepare patients before ECG procedures.
Ensure correct lead placement and accurate recordings.
Maintain ECG machine and accessories properly.
Assist doctors in interpreting reports when required.
Handle bedside ECG procedures during emergencies.
ECHO Related Duties
Assist Cardiologist during 2D Echo procedures.
Prepare and position patients for echocardiography.
Operate ECHO machine efficiently.
Record and store patient imaging data accurately.
Maintain proper hygiene and infection control standards.
Ensure smooth workflow in Cardiology department.
General Responsibilities
Maintain patient records and reports.
Coordinate with doctors, nurses,
and front office staff.
Ensure calibration and cleanliness of equipment.
Follow hospital protocols and patient safety guidelines.
Handle emergency cardiac diagnostic support when needed.
Maintain confidentiality of patient information.
Qualification
Diploma/Bachelor in ECG Technology, Cardiac Care Technology, or relevant allied health course.
Experience
Fresher or experienced candidates can apply.
Hospital experience preferred.
