Job Summary
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Site Supervisor (Civil) to oversee day-to-day construction activities, ensure quality execution, monitor manpower, and coordinate with engineers and contractors. The ideal candidate should have hands-on site execution experience and the ability to complete projects safely and on schedule.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise daily site activities and ensure work is executed as per approved drawings and specifications.
Manage and monitor labour, subcontractors, and site resources.
Ensure quality workmanship and adherence to engineering standards.
Coordinate with Site Engineers, Project Managers, Billing, and Procurement teams.
Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion of assigned work.
Verify measurements and maintain daily work progress reports.
Ensure proper utilization of construction materials and minimize wastage.
Implement and enforce site safety rules and housekeeping standards.
Inspect shuttering, reinforcement, concreting,
masonry, finishing, and other civil activities.
Resolve in office issues and report project updates to management.
Ensure all work complies with client requirements and applicable standards.
Required Skills
Robust knowledge of civil construction methods and site execution.
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
Good understanding of RCC, masonry, finishing, steel, and structural works.
Knowledge of quality control and safety procedures.
Valuable communication and team management skills.
Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel, MS Word); AutoCAD knowledge is an added advantage.
Qualification
Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering (Preferred)
ITI or relevant technical qualification with substantial site experience may also be considered.
Experience
2–5+ years of experience in civil construction site supervision.
