Role Summary:
We are looking for an organized and proactive Purchase Executive to manage procurement activities for our interior design projects. The ideal candidate will ensure cost-effective and timely purchase of materials, fixtures, furniture, and related services while maintaining quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Source and negotiate with vendors, suppliers, and contractors for interior design materials and services.
- Obtain competitive quotes and prepare comparative statements for management approval.
- Prepare and issue purchase orders in line with project requirements and budget.
- Coordinate with the design and project execution teams to understand material needs and specifications.
- Track orders and ensure timely delivery to project sites.
- Maintain and update the approved vendor database.
- Build and maintain strong vendor relationships to ensure reliable supply chains.
- Monitor market trends and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Ensure procurement processes comply with company policies and quality standards.
- Assist in inventory management as required.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the Interior design.
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Good knowledge of interior materials, finishes, furniture, and fixtures.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and relevant procurement software.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple priorities.
