Key responsibilities

- Handle guest payments: Process cash, credit, debit, and other payment methods accurately using a point-of-sale system.
- Manage cash: Conduct daily cash reconciliation, count and balance cash drawers at the beginning and end of shifts, and prepare daily deposits.
- Process transactions: Handle guest check-ins and check-outs, issue receipts, and process refunds or exchanges as needed.
- Provide customer service: Greet guests professionally, answer questions, address concerns, and resolve billing issues.
- Maintain records: Keep accurate records of all daily transactions and prepare closing reports.
- Ensure cleanliness: Keep the cashier area and any associated workspace organized and clean.
- Collaborate with staff: Work with other departments like housekeeping and food and beverage to ensure smooth and satisfactory guest experiences.

Qualifications and skills

- Customer service:



Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact positively with guests.
- Cash handling: Proven integrity and accuracy in handling money.
- Technical skills: Proficiency with POS systems and general computer literacy.
- Problem-solving: Ability to resolve guest complaints and billing discrepancies professionally.
- Organizational skills: Valuable time management and multitasking abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Experience: Previous experience in a cashier or customer service role, preferably within the hospitality industry, is often required.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
