We are seeking an experienced and skilled 5-Axis VMC (Vertical Machining Center) Programmer to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for programming, setting up, and optimizing 5-axis VMC machines to produce precision components as per engineering specifications, ensuring high quality and productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

- Create, modify, and optimize CNC programs for 5-axis VMC machines using CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, Siemens NX, PowerMill, or similar).
- Interpret and understand technical drawings, CAD models, and GD&T; specifications.
- Select proper tools, fixtures, and machining strategies for complex parts.
- Set up and operate 5-axis VMC machines to prove out programs and ensure first-off quality.
- Perform toolpath simulations and verification to prevent collisions or errors.
- Conduct regular inspection and quality control of machined components.
- Collaborate with design, production, and quality teams to improve machining efficiency and part accuracy.
- Maintain detailed documentation of programs, setups, and processes.




- Troubleshoot machining issues and suggest continuous improvements.

Requirements:

- Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in 5-axis VMC programming and operation.
- Proficient in CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, HyperMill, Siemens NX, or equivalent).
- Strong understanding of CNC G-code, M-code, and post-processing.
- Knowledge of cutting tools, speeds & feeds, and material properties.
- Ability to read and interpret complex technical drawings and CAD files.
- Robust analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of quality control instruments like CMM, micrometers, calipers, etc.
- Willingness to work flexible hours/shifts if required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹14,717.55 - ₹59,552.75 per month
