Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Technical Consultant (AL Developer) to join our team on a contractual basis. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in designing, developing, and customizing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central solutions using AL language. The candidate will be responsible for implementing scalable Business Central solutions, developing extensions, integrating third-party applications, and supporting both On-Premises and SaaS deployments.

Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Central Development

- Design, develop, and customize solutions in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
- Develop Business Central Extensions using AL Language in Visual Studio Code.
- Customize pages, tables, codeunits, reports, XMLports, queries, and workflows.
- Develop reusable and scalable Business Central components following Microsoft best practices.

Implementation & Customization

- Participate in Business Central On-Premises and SaaS implementation projects.
- Analyze business requirements and provide technical solutions.
- Collaborate with functional consultants to deliver end-to-end ERP solutions.
- Support customization, upgrades, and enhancement projects.

Integration & Data Migration

- Perform data migration using Configuration Packages, RapidStart Services, APIs, and Web Services.
- Develop and integrate REST APIs, SOAP Web Services, and third-party applications.
- Ensure seamless integration between Business Central and external systems.
- Support cloud integrations and automation solutions.





Reporting & Documentation

- Design and develop reports using RDLC and Word Layouts.
- Create technical design documents, deployment guides, and development documentation.
- Maintain version control and project documentation.

Technical Support & Optimization

- Provide technical support for Business Central applications.
- Troubleshoot application issues and resolve performance bottlenecks.
- Optimize Business Central applications for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards.

Collaboration & Delivery

- Work closely with functional consultants, business analysts, QA teams, and project managers.
- Participate in requirement gathering, technical design discussions, sprint planning, and Agile ceremonies.
- Support deployments and production releases.

Required SkillsTechnical Skills

- 4–6 years of experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central/NAV development.
- Strong expertise in AL Programming Language.
- Hands-on experience with Visual Studio Code.
- Experience with Business Central On-Premises and SaaS environments.

- Familiarity with Git, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Understanding of Business Central architecture and extension development lifecycle.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI).
- Knowledge of Azure Services and cloud-based integrations.
- Exposure to Azure Functions and Logic Apps.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Technical Certification is an added advantage.

Educational Qualifications

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in:
- B.Tech
- M.Tech
- MBA (Information Technology or Systems)
- Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
