Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves analyzing various application components to understand their structure and functionality. The role includes designing solutions tailored to client requirements, writing and testing code to ensure quality and performance, and maintaining existing software to enhance its capabilities. Collaboration with different teams to integrate changes and improvements is a key part of the daily routine, along with troubleshooting issues and ensuring smooth operation of software across multiple client environments.

- Responsible for team decisions.




- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to optimize system performance and reliability within the team.
- Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and skill development.

Qualified & Technical Skills:

- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP Basis Administration.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with SAP HANA DB Administration.
- Strong knowledge of system installation, configuration, and troubleshooting in SAP environments.
- Experience in managing system upgrades, patches, and performance tuning.
- Ability to monitor and maintain system health, including backup and recovery processes.
- Familiarity with transport management and client administration in SAP landscapes.

Additional Information:

- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in SAP Basis Administration.

- This position is based at our DDC 1 - STPI office.

- A 15 years full time education is required.
