Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Substation Automation Engineer with 2–5 years of experience in substation automation, protection, and control systems. The candidate will be responsible for designing, configuring, testing, and maintaining automation systems to ensure reliable and effective operation of electrical substations.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement substation automation systems (SAS)
Configure and test protection relays (Numerical Relays)
Work on SCADA systems for monitoring and control
Handle communication protocols like IEC 61850, Modbus, DNP3
Perform FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) and SAT (Site Acceptance Test)
Troubleshoot and resolve issues in protection and control systems
Prepare technical documentation and reports
Coordinate with site teams and clients for project execution
Required Skills:
Solid knowledge of power systems and substation engineering
Hands-on experience with relay configuration and testing
Familiarity with SCADA/PLC systems
Knowledge of communication protocols (IEC 61850 preferred)
Basic understanding of electrical drawings and schematics
Valuable problem-solving and analytical skills
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
Preferred:
Experience in transmission/distribution projects
Knowledge of protection schemes and grid systems
