Key Responsibilities
Set up and operate VMC machines as per production requirements.
Load and unload raw materials and finished components.
Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
Measure components using measuring instruments such as:
Vernier Caliper
Micrometer
Height Gauge
Bore Gauge
Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards.
Change cutting tools and tool offsets when required.
Monitor machine performance during operation.
Perform routine machine cleaning and basic preventive maintenance.
Report machine faults or quality issues to the supervisor.
Maintain production records and inspection reports.
Follow all safety procedures and use personal protective equipment (PPE).
Maintain 5S and positive housekeeping in the work area.
Qualifications
ITI (Fitter, Turner, Machinist) or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
1–3 years of experience as a VMC Operator (or Fresher with relevant training).
Working Conditions
Factory/manufacturing workplace.
Shift-based work.
Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹30,015.31 per month
