Job Summary

The Senior Cashier is responsible for overseeing daily cash transactions, ensuring accurate billing, maintaining cash balances, supervising junior cashiers.

Key Responsibilities
Handle cash, card, UPI, and other payment transactions accurately and efficiently.
Ensure timely and accurate billing for all customer transactions.
Verify and reconcile cash drawers at the beginning and end of each shift.
Prepare daily cash collection reports and deposit cash as per company procedures.
Maintain records of all financial transactions and ensure proper documentation.
Resolve billing discrepancies and customer payment-related queries.
Supervise and guide junior cashiers to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
Monitor cash handling procedures and ensure compliance with internal controls.
Coordinate with the Finance and Operations teams for daily reconciliations.
Assist during audits by providing the required documentation and reports.
Maintain confidentiality of financial and customer information.




Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and statutory requirements.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field.
4+ years of experience as a Cashier, with at least 1–2 years in a senior or supervisory role.
Experience in retail, hospitality, fintech, or banking is preferred.

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
