- Dispense prescribed dermatological medications accurately (creams, ointments, oral drugs, etc.)
- Counsel patients on proper use of skincare treatments, including application techniques and duration
- Educate patients about side effects, precautions, and expected outcomes of treatments
- Assist dermatologists in managing prescriptions and treatment plans
- Maintain accurate records of prescriptions and patient medication history
- Ensure proper storage and handling of temperature-sensitive and topical medications
- Monitor inventory, stock levels, and expiry dates of skincare and pharmaceutical products
- Coordinate with clinic staff to ensure smooth patient flow and service
- Maintain compliance with pharmacy laws and clinic protocols
- Provide guidance on over-the-counter skincare products and basic skincare routines when appropriate
Education & Requirements:
- Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D)
- Valid registration with the State Pharmacy Council
- 1–3 years of experience preferred (dermatology or clinical pharmacy is a plus)
- Familiarity with prescription handling and patient counseling
- Basic computer skills and experience with pharmacy management systems
- Positive communication and patient-handling skills
