Role Overview
- Position: Project Compliance Specialist
- Type: OFF Role

- Location: Delhi - Noida office (close to project leadership team)

Role Summary
Compliance specialist to work alongside the GSI project team in India to drive Compliance with internal policies, local and international anti-bribery and corruption laws, third party compliance, project site compliance, and overall support.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand the business organization, regional portfolio, project compliance risks, internal policies and procedures, relevant industry regulations, and applicable international laws.
- Strategic Business Partnering: Act as the primary compliance advisor to project leadership and site leaders. Provide practical, risk-based guidance to ensure project milestones are met without compromising integrity.
- Risk Mitigation: Design and implement monitoring programs focused on Anti-Corruption (FCPA, local bribery laws) and Human Rights (labour practices, modern slavery), within the project's specific geographic context.
- Third-Party & Supply Chain Oversight:
Conduct enhanced due diligence and ongoing monitoring of subcontractors, suppliers, agents, and partners to ensure they align with compliance policies and integrity values.
- Site-Level Compliance Operations: Conduct site visits, and partner with site leaders on the protocols for site visits, gift/hospitality approvals, and interactions with government officials in the region.
- Human Rights Impact Assessments (HRIA): Support the execution of project-specific human rights assessments. This includes identifying risks related to forced labour, up-to-date slavery, and community impact, and working with project teams to implement and monitor required mitigation plans.
- Training and Culture: Deliver tailored compliance training to diverse project teams and site workers, fostering a "Speak Up" culture and ensuring awareness of reporting channels.
- Incident Management: Serve as the first point of contact for compliance concerns or "red flags," leading initial assessments and coordinating with legal and compliance teams for resolution.
- Regional Support: Assist the Compliance team with broader initiatives on project compliance including internal investigations, risk assessments, and process improvements.
Pay: ₹1,300,000.00 - ₹1,500,000.00 per year
