We are looking for a QA Engineer with 3+ years of experience in Manual Testing and a basic understanding of Automation Testing. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring software quality through thorough testing, defect identification, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and experience testing web and mobile applications.

Key Responsibilities

- Analyze business requirements and functional specifications.

- Create, review, and execute detailed test cases and test scenarios.

- Perform functional, regression, integration, system, smoke, and sanity testing.

- Identify, document, and track defects through resolution.

- Validate UI, workflows, business logic, and end-to-end application functionality.

- Conduct API testing using tools such as Postman.

- Perform database validation using SQL queries.

- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to ensure product quality.

- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to sprint activities.

- Support automation initiatives by executing and maintaining existing automated test scripts when required.





Prepare test reports and communicate testing progress and quality metrics.

Requirements

Manual Testing (Primary)

- Solid understanding of STLC and SDLC.

- Hands-on experience in Functional, Regression, Integration, System, and UAT Testing.

- Experience creating test plans, test cases, test scenarios, and test reports.

- Strong knowledge of defect management and bug lifecycle.

- Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar defect-tracking tools.

- Experience testing web and mobile applications.

- Basic SQL knowledge for database validation.

Experience with API testing using Postman or similar tools.

Automation Testing (Mandatory)

- Basic exposure to Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar automation tools.

- Understanding of automation concepts and test script execution.

Familiarity with CI/CD processes is a plus.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills.

- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
