Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified and proactive Safety Engineer to oversee Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) compliance for our interior fit-out and construction projects. The candidate will be responsible for implementing safety standards, conducting inspections, ensuring statutory compliance, and promoting a safe working environment across project sites.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct site safety inspections and audits.
- Prepare and implement Risk Assessments (RA), Job Safety Analysis (JSA), and Method Statements.
- Issue and monitor Permit-to-Work (PTW) systems.
- Conduct safety inductions and daily toolbox talks.
- Ensure compliance with client HSE requirements and statutory regulations.
- Inspect scaffolds, ladders, power tools, lifting equipment, and temporary electrical installations.
- Investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions.
- Maintain safety records, reports, and compliance documentation.
- Coordinate emergency preparedness and first-aid arrangements.

Qualifications

- Diploma/Degree in Engineering or related field.
- Diploma/Advanced Diploma in Industrial Safety.
- NEBOSH IGC / IOSH / OSHA certification preferred.
- First Aid certification is an added advantage.





Experience

- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Interior Fit-Out, Commercial Interiors, Civil Construction, or MEP Projects.
- Experience working in corporate offices, IT parks, commercial buildings, or retail fit-out projects preferred.

Required Skills

- Solid knowledge of construction safety regulations.
- Excellent communication and reporting skills.
- Ability to conduct safety training and audits.
- Proficiency in MS Office and safety documentation.

- NEBOSH IGC
- IOSH Managing Safely
- OSHA Construction Safety
- First Aid & CPR
- Work at Height Training
