Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves leading the design, development, and configuration of software applications. This role requires taking ownership of projects and serving as the main liaison for all application-related activities. The position demands proactive engagement with various stakeholders to ensure that solutions are effectively tailored to meet business needs, while continuously overseeing the progress and quality of deliverables throughout the development lifecycle.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Ensure timely delivery of high-quality software components by managing tasks and priorities effectively.
Maintain transparent and consistent communication with stakeholders to provide updates and address concerns.
Support junior team members by sharing knowledge and assisting with problem-solving when needed.
Skilled & Technical Skills:
Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Workday Studio.
Strong experience in designing and developing integrations using Workday Studio tools and components.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues within Workday applications.
Familiarity with web services, XML, XSLT, and related integration technologies.
Experience in configuring and customizing Workday modules to align with business processes.
Additional Information:
The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in Workday Studio.
This position is based at our HDC3B - SEZ location.
A 15 years full time education is required.
