Job Title: Control Room Operator - DRI Division Job Summary: The Control Room Operator in the DRI (Direct Reduced Iron) Division is responsible for monitoring and controlling the production processes within the control room. This role involves ensuring the protected and efficient operation of equipment, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining communication with field operators to optimize production output.
Monitor and control DRI production processes from the control room
Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations
Respond to alarms and troubleshoot process issues
Communicate effectively with field operators and maintenance teams
Maintain accurate records of production data and incidents
Conduct regular inspections of control room equipment
Participate in training and safety drills

Qualifications:



High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree preferred Minimum of 2 years experience in a control room or process operation role Familiarity with DRI technology and processes is a plus Ability to work in shifts, including nights and weekends Solid attention to detail and ability to multitask
