Key Responsibilities
Operate and monitor light structure mill equipment (rolling mills, cutting machines, forming lines).
Perform setup, calibration, and adjustments of machinery for different product specifications.
Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues to reduce production downtime.
Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on mill equipment.
Ensure product quality meets specifications and standards.
Supervise and guide junior technicians and operators.
Maintain production logs, maintenance records, and reports.
Follow safety protocols and ensure a secure working workplace.
Coordinate with production, quality, and maintenance teams.

Required Skills Competencies
Solid knowledge of rolling mill operations and light structural manufacturing.
Mechanical and basic electrical troubleshooting skills.
Ability to read technical drawings and specifications.
Knowledge of safety standards and industrial practices.




Problem-solving and leadership abilities.
Good communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications
Diploma / ITI / Bachelor s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Metallurgical Engineering (or related field).
5 8 years of experience in rolling mills, steel plants, or similar manufacturing environments.

Preferred Experience
Experience with light gauge steel, tubes, or cold rolling processes.
Familiarity with PLC systems and automation.
Prior supervisory or team-leading experience.
