We are hiring for OT Technician for Nagarbhavi.

Job Description :-

1. Keep the OT room clean and ensure hygiene, sterilization, asepsis, fumigation, disinfection protocols are carried out before and after surgery / procedure to ensure safety conditions of patient and staff.

2. Keep all the equipments cleaned and disinfected, sterilization of euipments to be done properly.

3. Ensure all emergency drugs are stocked and kept ready, oxygen cylinders are filled and in working condition, patient intubation trolley is prepared, all equipments are sterilized and packed and circuits are in perfect working condition before surgery / procedure.

4. Prepare OT for procedure / surgery. Ensure all the emergency drugs, equipments and instruments are kept ready before the procedure.

5. Prepare patients for surgery, ensure safe positioning of patients before surgery and throughout the surgery and while shifting of the patients.

6. Assist the doctors and nursing staffs throughout the surgery and OT should never left unattended during the surgery.

7. Always maintain good verbal communication with other staffs (doctors & Nurses) during the procedure / surgery.

8. Patients should be treated with utmost dignity,



respond to the patients query with utmost empathy and communicate with utmost politely while moving or shifting the patients.

9. All the post-operative activities should be carried out to prepare the OT for the next scheduled surgery / procedure.

10. Clean all the operators, fumigate the OT, Autoclave all the instruments and pack. Keep gowns clean, ensure gauze cutting and folding is done.

11. Replace emergency drugs after surgery, check expiry dates and stocks – update OT In-Charge to indent and replace accordingly.

Language preferred : Kannada & English

Qualification : Diploma / B.Sc.
