Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced System Administrator to manage, maintain, and optimize our physical and virtual IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in server administration (Windows, Linux, and MacOS), networking, virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V/Proxmox), cloud (AWS), automation tools, security, and application hosting. You will be responsible for ensuring high availability, performance, and security of systems and services across multiple platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

- Install, configure, maintain, and monitor physical and virtual servers, desktops, and laptops.
- Manage network devices including firewalls, switches, routers, and GSM gateways.
- Configure and troubleshoot firewall, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VPNs, and routing policies.
- Implement and manage backup/restore solutions for VMs, databases, and applications.
- Manage virtualized environments (VMware ESXi 8, Proxmox, Hyper-V).
- Administer NAS/SAN storage and RAID configurations.
- Deploy and monitor web applications on IIS, Apache, and Nginx servers.
- Install and manage databases (MSSQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL).
- Handle patch management and system updates for servers and network devices.
- Manage and integrate VoIP/SIP solutions with Asterisk servers.
- Monitor infrastructure using ELK Stack, Zabbix, NewRelic, Grafana with Slack/email alerts.




- Support Office 365 and Google Workspace users and policies.
- Maintain and secure GitLab server, version control, and source code access.
- Manage endpoint security via ESET Security Server.
- Troubleshooting software and hardware issues (desktops, laptops, servers).
- Configure and secure remote access using RDP, SSH, Telnet, SNMP.
- Deploy and maintain open-source applications on Linux servers.
- Implement automation and integrations using Bash, PowerShell, Zapier, and n8n.
- Maintain inventory, licensing, and documentation for IT assets.
- Communicate with vendors and service providers for technical support.
- Ensure secure handling of passwords, API keys, and secrets using 2FA and encryption.

Required Skills and Experience:

- System Administration: Windows (2–5 years), Linux (2–5 years), MacOS
- Networking: TCP/IP, VPNs, Routing, Firewall configuration, DNS, DHCP
- Storage/Backup: SAN, RAID, NAS, disaster recovery, patching
- Virtualization: VMware ESXi 8, Hyper-V, Proxmox (2–3 years)
- Cloud Platforms: AWS (EC2, S3, Route 53)
- Security: Endpoint protection, 2FA, patch management, network protocols
- Databases: MSSQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL
- Monitoring: Zabbix, ELK, Grafana, NewRelic
- Scripting: Bash, PowerShell (basic to intermediate level)
- Automation Tools: Zapier, n8n
- Communication: Work with vendors, document processes, team collaboration

Qualification:

- Education: B.E./B. Tech in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
- Certifications (Preferred): RHCE, MCSA/MCSE, VMware, AWS, ITIL, CEH, or similar

Additional Information:

- Availability for 24x7 on-call support as per requirement
- Must maintain confidentiality and security best practices at all times
