Espirit Toyota is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Exchange Evaluator to inspect, evaluate, and determine the fair market value of pre-owned vehicles offered for exchange. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge of automobiles, excellent negotiation skills, and experience in used car valuation. Similar roles across dealerships emphasize vehicle inspection, valuation reporting, and coordination with sales teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct detailed inspection of customer vehicles, including engine, transmission, suspension, brakes, electrical systems, body, and paint.
- Identify accidental repairs, flood damage, structural issues, and other defects.
- Determine the exchange value based on vehicle condition, market trends, and dealership guidelines.
- Prepare accurate vehicle inspection and valuation reports.
- Coordinate with the New Car Sales and Used Car teams to ensure smooth exchange transactions.
- Negotiate exchange values with customers while maintaining dealership profitability.
- Maintain records of evaluated vehicles and update reports in the dealership management system.
- Stay updated on used car market trends and competitor pricing.

Requirements





- Graduate or Diploma/ITI in Automobile Engineering or related field.
- 0–5 years of experience in used car evaluation, automobile service, or dealership operations.
- Strong knowledge of automobile mechanics and used vehicle valuation.
- Good communication, negotiation, and customer handling skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and dealership management software is preferred.
- Valid driving licence is mandatory.

Preferred Experience

- Experience with Toyota dealerships or other OEM dealerships such as Maruti, Hyundai, Honda, Tata, Mahindra, or similar.
- Experience in exchange evaluation, vehicle inspection, or pre-owned car operations is an advantage.
