- Invoice Generation: Create and distribute transparent, itemized invoices and statements to clients via email, mail, or digital billing portals. [1, 2]
- Payment Processing: Record and reconcile incoming payments, including cash, checks, credit cards, and digital wallets, ensuring records reflect exact balances. [1, 2, 3, 4]
- Dispute Resolution: Investigate billing discrepancies and answer customer or vendor questions regarding charges, credits, and account updates. [1, 2]
- Collections: Identify overdue accounts, send payment reminders, and communicate with clients to collect outstanding balances while adhering to company policies. [1, 2]
- Reporting: Prepare periodic billing, revenue, and accounts receivable (A/R) reports for management.
