Purchase Manager

Key Responsibilities

- Manage procurement of grains, cereals, pulses, and FMCG food products.
- Source, evaluate, and onboard suppliers/vendors.
- Negotiate prices, payment terms, and contracts.
- Ensure timely purchasing and uninterrupted supply.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with warehouse/operations teams.
- Maintain purchase records, POs, invoices, and vendor contracts.
- Handle vendor reconciliation and purchase accounting in Zoho Books.
- Conduct supplier performance evaluations and cost analysis.
- Ensure quality standards and procurement compliance.
- Experience is Accounts Payable, Purchase Accounting, Inventory Management and Vendor Management

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Purchase/Procurement within FMCG or Food Industry.
- Strong knowledge of food procurement, inventory management, and vendor management.
- Experience with Zoho Books or similar ERP/accounting software preferred.
- Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
