Job DescriptionSummaryJobDescriptionRolesand ResponsibilitiesBelowactivities shall be performed within stipulated time frame forBasic & Detail Cable tray layoutengineering.Towork on E3D /Autodesk Revit / & AutoCAD software for varioustype of hydro power plant Cable and Cable tray networksmodelling.Generate Generalarrangement drawings for cable Tray layout & erection drawing& Trench layout.Potheadyard / Switchyard layoutdetailing.Knowledge ofCable Sizing, Cable Schedule, Cable filling study &Distribution; BoardSchedule.To review variousvendor equipment drawings for layout interfaces &requirements.Organizing; theDesign Review Meetings of Basic & Detail designdocument.Generate clashcheck report from E3D & resolve if any interferencefound.Preparation of SingleLine Diagram (Power, lighting, UPS,Control)Knowledge ofEarthing & Lightinglayouts.Prepare bill ofmaterial for various cable trays, cable tray supports & releasein PLM tool.Should interactwith other department for various inputs/interface requirement& keep therecord.Interaction withcustomer/other COEs/Region for variousdiscussion/meeting.Toreview customer civil structural design drawings,



civilconstructiondrawings.RequiredQualificationsDiploma/B.E.ElectricalEngineeringShould be ableto communicate/understand EnglishlanguageHe/she should haveminimum 12 to 15 years’ experience on belowactivity.should have goodknowledge of cad software, like E3D/Autodesk Revit/ AutoCAD, MSoffice, etc.Should havegood knowledge about Cable Tray supportengineering.He/she shouldhave good knowledge about hydro power plant layout, equipmentarrangement/layout & should be valuable knowledge about plantnetwork layout.Clashresolution.Site Support& resolution.Cablingroute definition & Trays fillingstudy.Projectplanning/scheduling, man-hours estimation, documentchecking.DesiredCharacteristicsStronginterpersonal and leadershipskills. Establishedproject managementskills.
