Role & responsibilities
Execute test cases for OTT applications across Web, Android, iOS, Android TV, Fire TV, Smart TV, and Set-Top Box (STB) platforms.
Perform functional, regression, smoke, sanity, and exploratory testing.
Validate key OTT features including Live TV, Video-on-Demand (VOD), Catch-up TV, Search, User Profiles, Subscription, and Parental Controls.
Verify video playback functionality, including play, pause, resume, seek, rapid-forward, rewind, and subtitle/audio track selection.
Validate user authentication, account management, and content accessibility workflows.
Identify, reproduce, document, and track defects using Jira or similar defect management tools.
Work closely with developers to provide detailed issue information and assist in troubleshooting.
Perform defect retesting and regression validation after fixes.
