Ashland has an exciting prospect for a Logistics Coordinator to join our Supply Chain business at our Mumbai and Maharashtra. This is a very visible, significant role within the Company and the Supply Chain Division. This position will report to the Manager of Logistics.
The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for:
Responsible for planning, executing, and monitoring end - to - end export logistics operations across multiple regions.
Ensures timely delivery, compliance with international trade regulations, and accurate documentation.
Coordinates with internal teams and external logistics partners to ensure smooth shipment execution.
Key Responsibilities
Manage outbound delivery processing using ERP systems (SAP or equivalent).
Plan and coordinate shipments with freight forwarders.
Ensure material readiness and dispatch planning with warehouse teams.
Prepare and validate export documentation (B/L, invoice, packing list, COO).
Maintain communication with stakeholders and provide shipment updates.
Track shipment milestones and update ERP/TMS systems.
Support Transport Management System (TMS) implementation and usage.
Validate and process logistics vendor invoices.
Support logistics reporting and performance tracking (OTIF, cost, timelines).
Key Skills Competencies
SAP / ERP systems knowledge

Freight forwarding and shipment coordination

Ability to work across global teams.
Qualifications Experience
Bachelor s degree in supply chain, Logistics, or related field
Experience preferred 3 yrs to 5 yrs
Relevant experience in export logistics or international operations
Exposure to global logistics operations preferred
