Role & responsibilities

To ensure 100% rider fleet availability across all designated shifts so that incoming orders are matched and dispatched immediately. The primary objective is to maintain strict platform delivery SLAs (Service Level Agreements) while managing operational cost-per-delivery and mitigating rider attrition.
Source, recruit, and onboard delivery partners/riders to ensure adequate fleet strength.
Verify rider documents including Driving License, RC, Aadhaar, Bank Account, and other compliance documents.
Conduct rider onboarding and training on company policies, app usage, customer service, and safety guidelines.
Plan and manage rider shifts based on business demand and order forecasts.
Ensure maximum rider login and attendance during peak hours, weekends, and festivals.
Monitor rider productivity, delivery performance, and SLA adherence.
Implement rider retention initiatives and resolve rider grievances.
Manage incentive programs, surge payouts, and performance-based rewards.
Coordinate with finance for accurate weekly/monthly rider payouts.
Track fleet performance using Excel/Google Sheets and MIS reports.




Optimize operational costs while maintaining high service levels.
Handle day-to-day field operations and resolve real-time operational issues.
Work closely with Operations, Warehouse, and HR teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment.
Maintain delivery quality, rider discipline, and customer satisfaction.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.

Preferred candidate profile

Experience Background: Minimum of 1 to 3 years directly overseeing last-mile logistics, express courier setups, or dark-store e-commerce field operations.

Analytical Skillset: Competency utilizing MS Excel, Google Sheets, or internal dashboards for shift roster analysis, delivery trend tracking, and payout calculations.

Personnel Management: Demonstrable experience managing large-scale blue-collar or gig-economy workforces with transparent conflict-resolution capabilities.

Crisis Resilience: Ready capability to pivot operations instantly during real-time on-field disruptions like localized labor shortages, extreme downpours, or technical system outages.
