Job Purpose

To plan, schedule, monitor, and control production activities to ensure timely manufacturing and delivery while optimizing resources, inventory, and production efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on customer orders and delivery schedules.
- Coordinate with Sales, Design, Procurement, Stores, Production, and Quality departments to ensure smooth production flow.
- Release work orders and monitor production progress through the ERP system.
- Prepare and maintain production schedules, route cards, and manufacturing plans.
- Monitor material availability and coordinate with Procurement and Stores to avoid production delays.
- Track work-in-progress (WIP) and identify production bottlenecks.
- Ensure production targets are achieved as per the approved plan.
- Monitor machine capacity, manpower utilization, and production efficiency.
- Coordinate with Quality Control to ensure products meet quality requirements.




- Follow up on delayed orders and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain production records, MIS reports, and planning documentation.
- Monitor inventory levels and recommend actions to optimize stock.
- Participate in production review meetings and submit planning reports.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and ISO requirements.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve productivity and reduce lead time.
