We are hiring – Credit Manager

We are looking for an experienced and analytical Credit Manager to oversee credit evaluation and risk assessment processes for our finance and chit fund operations. The ideal candidate should have robust knowledge of lending practices, customer verification, and portfolio risk management within the NBFC or chit fund sector.

The role involves assessing customer eligibility, ensuring compliance with internal credit policies, and supporting business growth while maintaining asset quality.

Key Responsibilities:

- Evaluate loan and chit applications based on financial background, repayment capacity, and risk factors
- Conduct customer verification, reference checks, and field investigations where required
- Review KYC documents, income proofs, banking records, and credit-related documentation
- Analyze creditworthiness and recommend approvals or rejections in line with company policies
- Monitor overdue accounts and coordinate with collection teams to minimize credit risk
- Ensure compliance with RBI guidelines, company procedures,



and regulatory requirements
- Prepare credit reports, portfolio analysis, and MIS reports for management review
- Identify potential risks and suggest corrective measures to improve portfolio performance
- Coordinate with branch teams to ensure smooth processing and timely disbursement activities
- Maintain proper documentation and records related to customer credit assessments

Preferred Profile:

- Minimum 3 years of experience in NBFC, banking, or chit fund credit operations
- Strong understanding of credit appraisal, risk management, and collection processes
- Candidates from Kothamangalam and nearby places are preferred.
- Good analytical, decision-making, and communication skills
- Candidates from the finance or banking sector with immediate joining availability will be preferred
