Reporting To:

Principal / Academic Coordinator

Job Purpose:

To deliver high-quality French language education to middle school students (Classes VI–XII) in accordance with CBSE curriculum guidelines, fostering linguistic proficiency, cultural awareness, and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

- Teach French language to students of Classes VI to XII as per CBSE curriculum.
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lesson plans aligned with academic objectives.
- Develop students’ reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills in French.
- Conduct regular assessments, assignments, and evaluations as per CBSE guidelines.
- Maintain student records, attendance, and academic progress reports.
- Integrate modern teaching methods, digital tools, and activity-based learning.
- Prepare students for internal assessments, periodic tests, and board-aligned exams.
- Encourage participation in language-based activities such as debates, role plays, and cultural events.
- Collaborate with other faculty members for interdisciplinary learning.
- Maintain discipline and create a positive classroom environment.
- Participate in school events, parent-teacher meetings, and training sessions.

Eligibility Criteria (As per CBSE Norms):

- Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor’s Degree with French as a subject OR




- Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with a Diploma/Certification in French (minimum B1/B2 level preferred)
- B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) – Mandatory
- Preferred Certifications:
- DELF/DALF certification (Alliance Française or equivalent)

Experience:

- Minimum 2–3 years of teaching experience in a recognized school (CBSE/ICSE preferred).
- Freshers with robust subject knowledge and relevant qualifications may also be considered.

Key Skills Required:

- Strong command over French language (written and spoken)
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
- Familiarity with CBSE curriculum and assessment pattern
- Proficiency in using digital teaching tools and smart boards
- Ability to engage and motivate students
- Cultural awareness of French-speaking regions

Working Conditions:
