Job Description – DTP Designer

About the Role

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented DTP (Desktop Publishing) Designer to produce high-quality print and digital artwork while ensuring accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines. The ideal candidate should have strong layout, typography, and pre-press knowledge with experience in preparing production-ready files.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and format marketing materials such as brochures, flyers, catalogs, menus, posters, packaging, labels, and promotional materials.
- Create print-ready artwork in accordance with production specifications.
- Ensure consistency in branding, fonts, colors, and layouts across all materials.
- Modify and update existing artwork based on business requirements.
- Collaborate with the Marketing, Branding, and Production teams to meet project deadlines.
- Perform image editing, color correction, and retouching where required.
- Prepare files for digital and offset printing, ensuring proper bleed, crop marks, and color profiles.
- Review proofs and coordinate with printing vendors to ensure quality output.
- Maintain organized design files and version control.
- Stay updated with current design trends and printing technologies.

Required Qualifications

- Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Fine Arts, or a related field.




- 2–5 years of experience as a DTP Designer or Graphic Designer.
- Experience in print media, packaging, publishing, retail, or FMCG industry is preferred.

Technical Skills

- Adobe InDesign
- Adobe Illustrator
- Adobe Photoshop
- CorelDRAW
- Adobe Acrobat
- Microsoft Office (Basic)

Desired Skills

- Solid knowledge of typography, layout design, and color theory.
- Excellent understanding of print production and pre-press processes.
- Ability to create accurate, error-free artwork.
- Good attention to detail and time management.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Experience

- Experience in packaging design and label artwork.
- Knowledge of offset, digital, and large-format printing.
- Experience working with printers and production vendors.
- Familiarity with multilingual typesetting (English, Telugu, Hindi) is an added advantage.
