Responsibilities
Monitor and support our SAP on-premise landscape, with a focus on system availability, performance, jobs, interfaces and daily operations.
Perform routine SAP Basis administration tasks such as client and user-related support, transport monitoring, job monitoring, spool management and basic troubleshooting.
Support the execution of standard maintenance activities, including SAP Notes, system checks and other recurring Basis tasks in coordination with senior colleagues.
Monitor and support our SAP cloud tenants in the SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP), ensuring stable operation and transparency of alerts, services and integrations.
Assist in the administration of SAP BTP subaccounts, services and technical configurations as part of day-to-day cloud operations.
Create and maintain clear technical documentation, operating procedures and monitoring guides.
Work closely with internal IT teams and external partners to analyze incidents and support continuous improvement of SAP operations.

Requirements




Degree or comparable qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field
First practical experience in SAP Basis Administration through a junior role, internship, apprenticeship or relevant projects is an advantage
Basic understanding of complex SAP system landscapes, monitoring, transports, background jobs and user administration
Good knowledge of operating systems such as Windows or Linux and knowledge of Database systems ideally SAP HANA Databases
Interest in cloud technologies and ideally first exposure to SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP)
Structured and reliable way of working, strong willingness to learn and valuable analytical skills
Positive communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
Valuable English skills, both written and spoken
Willingness to travel when required
