Distribution Designer

Job responsibilities
Aerial and/or underground distribution and fiber network design
Perform distribution and fiber network system design calculations including equipment sizing, electric load calculations, and pole loading analysis
Prepare design sketches, cost estimates, and bill of materials.
Prepare design documents for construction, including plan and profiles, structure loadings, design details, trench and conduit drawings, and equipment specifications.
Project experience in Pole replacement, Cable replacement, Reconductoring, Overhead to Underground Conversion, Capacitor bank replacement, Reclosers.

Preferred candidate profile
Two to six years of experience in the design of electric utility overhead distribution systems using one or more of the following Softwares - PoleForeman, SPIDACalc, O-Calc Katapult, IKE office. For fiber, experience in AutoCAD and ARCGis planning and design is preferred.
