Responsibilities
Auditing: Examining a company's financial statements to ensure accuracy
Taxation: Filing income tax returns for individuals and businesses
Financial reporting: Preparing balance sheets, profit and loss accounts, and business performance reports
Financial compliance: Ensuring compliance with laws and regulations
Financial advice: Advising clients on business transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and insolvency
Business strategy: Analyzing financial reports to recommend strategies for growth and profitability
Accounting systems: Evaluating accounting systems and suggesting improvements
Forensic accounting: Conducting forensic accounting investigations
