SAP FICO Consultant

Experience

24 years of hands-on experience in SAP FI and SAP CO modules, including implementation, support, rollout, or enhancement projects.

Educational Qualification
Chartered Accountant (CA) or Cost and Management Accountant (ICWA/CMA) – Mandatory
SAP FICO Certification is preferred.

Roles & Responsibilities
Configure, implement, and support SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules.
Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP functional solutions.
Configure and support key SAP FI components including:
General Ledger (GL)
Accounts Payable (AP)
Accounts Receivable (AR)
Asset Accounting (AA)
Bank Accounting
Configure and support SAP CO components including:
Cost Center Accounting (CCA)
Internal Orders
Profit Center Accounting (PCA)
Product Costing
Profitability Analysis (CO-PA)
Support month-end and year-end financial closing activities.
Work on integration between SAP FICO and other SAP modules such as MM, SD, and PP.
Prepare functional specifications for custom developments and coordinate with technical (ABAP) teams.
Participate in unit testing, integration testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).




Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolution.
Assist in data migration, master data management, and system enhancements.
Prepare user documentation and provide end-user training and support.
Collaborate with business users and cross-functional teams to improve financial processes.

Required Skills
Solid knowledge of SAP FI and SAP CO configuration and business processes.
Good understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and cost management.
Experience in SAP integration with MM, SD, and other modules.
Knowledge of financial closing, reconciliation, and reporting processes.
Ability to prepare functional specifications and coordinate with technical teams.
Solid analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented team environment.

Preferred Skills
Exposure to SAP S/4HANA Finance is an added advantage.
Experience with SAP Fiori applications is desirable.
SAP FICO Certification is preferred.
Knowledge of GST, taxation, and statutory compliance processes is an advantage.
