Role Summary
The Senior Data Engineer is a hands-on technical contributor responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and high-quality, reusable datasets across Snowflake, AWS, and GCP . This role is part of the Corporate Functions team (Finance and Master Data domains – Customer, Vendor, Material) and operates in a complex enterprise workplace integrating 70+ ERP systems (SAP ECC, Atlas, JDE, Baan, etc.). This position requires strong hands-on skills, with growing ownership under the direction of Tech Leads and Architects.





Key Responsibilities
Data Engineering & Pipeline Development
Build and maintain scalable data ingestion and transformation pipelines.
Develop advanced and optimised SQL transformations (daily usage expected).
Use Python for data processing, automation, and pipeline logic.
Work across Snowflake, AWS, and GCP platforms.
Integrate and standardise data from multiple ERP systems.
Optimise queries and transformations for performance and cost efficiency.

Data Modelling & Dataset Design
Support implementation of logical and physical data models.
Build structured, reusable, and analytics-ready datasets.
Contribute to master data (Customer, Vendor, Material) and finance reporting layers.
Apply sound modelling principles to ensure scalability and performance.
Ensure alignment with enterprise data product standards.
Hands-on modelling capability is expected.
